Upon landing on the home page, the design and layout look pretty standard—black background, red text, lots of big thumbnails, a big announcement banner at the top of the page (which is, thankfully, not advertising anything other than Evil Angel films).One thing on the home page that already makes Evil Angel stand out from other paid membership sites that I’ve been on is that on the left-hand side of the page you will find a directory, not of porn stars or featured actresses like you might expect, but of featured directors. Toggle between a list of the most popular Evil Angel directors or an alphabetical list. This should tell you a fuck load about Evil Angel as a studio and what they value—they truly do approach their videos as more than just recordings of hot chicks getting fucked; they look at their productions as films, through and through.Hard Fucking CoreJust looking at a few of the screenshots used for the thumbnails makes it easy to see that nasty, raw, hardcore aesthetic I mentioned earlier. Many of the models are tatted up and alternative looking, the scenes are set in places like city busses, back alleys, and in warehouses with graffitied-up walls. My only gripe with the site design is that it’s a little busy for my liking—I tend to prefer something a little more minimalistic, and Evil Angel has used up every page, top to bottom, with no blank space. I guess.One disappointing aspect of Evil Angel’s content is that they have not yet jumped on board with virtual reality content. This is surprising to me, too, given that they are always at the forefront of porn’s innovation and VR porn really lends itself perfectly to the gonzo, POV-style that they pioneered so many years ago. If I could talk to John Stagliano, that would be my one and only complaint. I would love to see Evil Angel embrace some of the more interactive capabilities available to us in 2018.Grit Your Teeth and CumAll in all, though, Evil Angel did not disappoint one bit. They have certainly lived up to the high standard that they have set for themselves, which is not always an easy task. With a subscription to Evil Angel you will have 30 years-worth of superb content, the sexiest girls on the web, an historically valuable archive of classic films (it’s important to know your roots!), and a super easy to use website on which to browse through all of it.As I said before, I could have done without the ads (even if relatively few), and I think it is a hugged missed opportunity for Evil Angel to have no virtual reality content, but these are, I think, relatively minor complaints among so much to applaud about the site.
