Reddit Pornhub, aka r/PornHub! You know about PornHub, right? I mean, of course you do, we all do! Well, what if I told you that they made a subreddit that is all about that website? If you don’t want to go to PornHub for content, you can just go to /r/Pornhub instead? Why would you want to do that? Well, there are several reasons. From the upvote system to community moderation, /r/Pornhub is just much better suited to providing you with the best content. If you ask me, Reddit.com is a superior platform to porn tube sites such as PornHub and so on. Here you always know that people will be moderating their own content and all that.Bite-sized videos to watch in quick successionNow, can you expect the exact same content on /r/Pornhub as you can expect it on PornHub.com? Nope. Not at all, actually. The website PornHub actually specializes in being a porn tube video platform so you can find all kinds of videos on it of various lengths. But I’m sure you already knew all that. What I’m sure you didn’t realize is the fact that /r/Pornhub actually has videos for the most part as well, but it also features funny memes about PornHub and it also features videos that are much shorter and bite-sized rather than the kind of content you can expect on the porn tube site itself. It’s much better that way. I mean, you might like longer videos, but this way you can watch more and cum more easily.The only issue with having many bite-sized videos is the fact that you could be jerking off and getting close to ejaculating when all of a sudden, you see a video that you don’t like and you’re back at square one. This has happened to me quite a few times and I have no good answer as to how you’re supposed to combat that. The only thing I can think of is that you can potentially try to enjoy /r/Pornhub as a sort of loop video website where you watch your favorite snippet of a video over and over again until you cum. That could be a good way of looking at it. But anyway, the bite-sized videos are fine by me.Don’t pay for anything and watch as a guestOne thing that is great about /r/Pornhub as well as the site that it is based on is the fact that you can enjoy all the content on both sources for free and without even having to make an account. I think that not making an account is an important factor as to why people stick to certain platforms. Of course, on Reddit this isn’t exactly encouraged because you can do a lot more with an account such as commenting, upvoting, saving posts and so on. And besides, Reddit is made as a community platform where you interact with others instead of just mindlessly consuming content and lurking around.That’s not to say that you can’t use /r/Pornhub like that. You can lurk all you want, and unlike on PornHub, you at least won’t have to deal with all the attempts to make you pay for premium. On /r/Pornhub, there is no premium and you don’t pay for anything. You don’t really need an account at all if you don’t want to have one. But it’s nice to have all the extra options available to you. The fact of the matter is that if you can have a few minutes to spare just to make the account, you should definitely do so. Trust me, you want to enjoy everything on /r/Pornhub, and the features are definitely a part of it.Too many couch consumers and lurkers herePart of the experience is also to communicate with others, which is why I like to go to the Hot section as much as possible. This is where the most action happens and where many people comment on posts and so on. But still, the number of comments and the level of interaction with posts on /r/Pornhub isn’t exactly at the highest levels. I guess that because many people come to /r/Pornhub because of the name, they act like they’re on that site. On that site, most people just consume content and jerk off without ever doing anything. So yeah, I guess that the connotation with that site kind of made it fail that regard.If they called it like with a proper subreddit name, I feel like the place wouldn’t have that problem, but alas, it is what it is. Maybe one day, we will live in a world where all subreddits get named according to what they have to offer to their users. Anyway, /r/Pornhub is a good place to go to when you want to enjoy something that feels like a porn tube site but isn’t exactly like that. Anyway, as far as I’m concerned, you can expect a lot of good stuff with this subreddit. The only problem remains and that is the fact that most people who come to /r/Pornhub use it like they use PornHub – like consumers.Not enough members for higher activityAnd it’s not like if that behavior changed like it would make much of a difference. I mean, look at the number of members here. It’s not even 200k! I know many NSFW subs that have much less noticeable names and they have many more subscribers than this subreddit does. I feel like the problem with this place is that it doesn’t offer a lot in the way of other things that make other NSFW subs so great. The only thing it can offer is a good influx of porn content that can very often be insanely hot. I can admit that, but I can still see the faults and failures of /r/Pornhub that have kept it static for the last few years.I mean, if you make a subreddit in 2010, you would expect it to be much more popular, right? Well, on /r/Pornhub, you only have 132,000 members. That’s not a lot by NSFW subreddit standards. I feel like the number of people here should be much higher, seeing as how they are trying to sell the story that their name is like one of the biggest porn sites out there. They sure as hell need to step up their game if they want to become a household name on Reddit, because the way things are going right now, this isn’t the case at all. One thing leads to another, and soon enough, I feel like this place won’t budge.Pretty lame and default subreddit designOne of the things that seriously needs to be addressed when it comes to /r/Pornhub is the design. This is coming from the dude who made one of the best user interfaces for a porn list website in the world. Do you have any idea how popular ThePornDude.com is? I guarantee that you have no clue. And a lot of it has to do with the fact that my user interface is just so nice to use that people just can’t resist being here and checking out all the different options. Well, /r/Pornhub doesn’t have any of that going for them. They try to piggyback off of the success that the Reddit.com platform has on its own with the design that they have by default. Unfortunately, you need to actually do something fresh and new.You can’t just expect that the features of Reddit will just make your subreddit as good as the site itself. There are so many things that you need to take into account when it comes to these popular NSFW subs and one of the main ones is that they at least changed their color scheme! /r/Pornhub didn’t even do that as they kept the boring blue color on top of all the other boring shit like not adding an avatar or cover photo. These things are really shitty, in my opinion, especially since they can be changed with a few presses of a mouse button. It’s that easy to do and yet this subreddit doesn’t want to put in even an ounce of an effort into making their place pop. Well, I guess that’s on them, and I can’t do shit about it.
